Loopop reviews the Polyend Tracker hardware tracker-style sequencer and walks through a tutorial from sampling to finishing a song. It covers most of the device's features.
HN mentions it as a good high-level tutorial when threads on tracker music and the Amiga scene come up.

No need to try as it already exists: Any Linux tablet with Reaper and a couple soft synths and a decent external sound card if needed would do a lot more for a lot less. A good portion of the cost of this device could be justified only if it really had motorized knobs and faders, which are shown in the video but not mentioned among the features; that would be a completely unnecessary gimmick (in such a device) which however would impact a lot on the cost. Portable music devices aren't that expensive these days. Take a look at what SunVox can do on old hardware, or maybe the Polyend Tracker, which is a hardware solution that costs less than half of the tx-6 and doesn't kill the eyes on a toy display. link link ▶ this video
Main product URL: link (it's out of stock directly from Polyend, but check with music stores, local and otherwise) Just got one too and still learning about it (and really really like it). Have you seen this great video? It's a good high level tutorial of most features (it's a tiny bit dated when compared to the latest firmware, but it's still mostly the same UI) ▶ this video Also... the Tracker supports .mod files..! link
Doesn't have to be. It is more related to the style of sequencing . Now there's even a hardware device that does this ▶ this video
