A short clip of the audience at Valve's 2017 announcement of Artifact, a Dota 2 card game, reacting with visible disappointment. The footage captures the awkward silence and the logo reveal.
Cited as comedic evidence that Valve's own core fans were unenthused by Artifact, and later as an early warning sign of its failure.

I can't imagine anyone being hyped for it. What will always stick out in my mind is the immediate reaction to the games announcement, by Valves own core fans. ▶ this video
Mandatory reaction: ▶ this video The game is essentially dead now. I don't think a new card game is what either Half-Life nor Dota fans wanted.
The audience reaction and the logo popping up is comedy gold. ▶ this video Context: Valve hasn't released any new IP other than steamVR for 7 years, and has multiple game franchises that have hordes of fans desperately asking for a (third) sequel.
