A short clip from the April 1984 Apple IIc rollout presentation at the Moscone Center, uploaded by Alfred DiBlasi. It argues the Apple II line funded the Macintosh's early years.
HN cites it as period footage showing how Apple presented the II line and how the company leaned on its education market to survive.

They did music videos for a few of these too: Blue Busters: link Apple II Forever: ▶ this video Leading the Way: link I guess stuff like this is what happens when your marketing department has too little to do.
> "the Macintosh itself was not a commercial success" which is another strange claim Macintosh was in fact not successful for many years, and Apple survived by chanting "Apple II Forever!" at their legacy edu market. ▶ this video Also the fail Apple III was Jobs' machine. Scully and Gasse made the Macintosh II line successful by marketing expensive workstations to creative professionals. That was against Jobs' "vision" so of course he discounts it. One thing which has never changed: Apple won't lift their finger unless they get a 30% margin.
There's also "Apple ][ Forever" ▶ this video These videos have a certain look, and it comes from how they were originally presented to the audience with a massive bank of computer-controlled slide projectors that could cross-fade between images.
