Pachelbel Rant from 2006 [Official High Quality Re-Post]

As others said - they're chords. And not just any chords, but chords we know sound great together. (If you haven't seen the 'Pachelbel Rant' yet, you should, it's an entire comedy bit based on the fact that these chords are fundamental to music: ▶ this video ) If you click on the little notes in the bottom right, you can pick other sets of chords, which give a different "vibe". (Me, I'm partial to the Andalusian ones) That's why common advice to people starting the guitar is "Three chords, you can play anything. Four, you control the mood. Five, you're a god among men"

The amount of songs you can play as a medley is staggering to say the least. Last time this was on the front page we were a few who posted different medleys. I’ll repost my favorite, pachhelbels rant: ▶ this video

I thought you’d link to pachelbel’s rant, which is a funny standup music rant about how the canon is everywhere ▶ this video

Tangentially related, but all you need is Pachelbel's Canon. ▶ this video (Yes, it's a youtube video, and I hate videos, but this one is worth it)
